Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU) under the auspices of UNESCO is a UNESCO Category II centre, working for 47 Member States in Asia and the Pacific region to promote Education for International Understanding (EIU) towards a Culture of Peace. The Centre was established in 2000 according to the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Korea and UNESCO.

1. Post Title: Programme Officer for Education for International Understanding

2. Job description: Selected employee will engage in various development and management tasks for APCEIU’s EIU programmes and activities for the promotion of EIU in the Asia-Pacific region

3. Qualifications
     ○ National from the UNESCO Member States in the Asia-Pacific region other than Korean
     ○ Good command of English and working-level knowledge of Korean
     ○ Strong interest in EIU activities in the Asia-Pacific region
     ○ University degree, preferably in Education for International Understanding
