영문판『유네스코가 들려주는 아시아 아홉 문자 이야기』유네스코 아태교육원은 초. 중학생의 국제이해 증진을 위한 교양도서 『유네스코가 들려주는 아시아 아홉 문자 이야기』를 영문판으로 번역하여 새롭게 출간하였다. 이 책은 아시아의 언어와 문자를 통해 그 속에 담긴 문화와 역사를 배우고, 그 문자를 사용하는 아시아 국가에 대한 독자들의 이해를 증진시키기 위해 개발되었다. 아시아 문자 중 대표적인 아홉 가지 문자(인도문자, 아랍문자, 태국문자, 베트남문자, 인도네시아문자, 몽골문자, 한자, 일본문자, 한글)를 선정하여 각 문자의 역사와 발달 과정 등에 관련된 다양하고 재미있는 이야기를 담아내고 있다.
