2005년 9월 30일에 아태교육원은 한국교육학술정보원(KERIS:Korea Education and Research Information Service)과 상호협력 양해각서(MOU:Memorandom of Understanding)를 체결했다.

KERIS is doing its utmost to develop human resources through e-Learning, regain public trust in education, lay a foundation for a knowledge and information-based society by activation of e-Learning, and to enhance national education and research competitiveness through academy digitalization in the Republic of Korea.

Both organizations will support cooperation in the fields of sharing EIU content and research data, EIU programmes through ICT application. The scope of cooperation is as follows.

  a. Sharing of on- and off-line EIU content and research data, including publications and journals;
  b. Organization of and participation in conferences, symposia, courses, workshops, exhibitions and other joint meetings of mutual interest on EIU programmes through ICT application
  c. Collaboration with domestic, regional and international organizations and other mutual partners relating to sharing of EIU content and research data and EIU programmes through ICT application;
  d. Exchanges of relevant information regarding the effective use of ICT in EIU
  e. Other forms of cooperation.
