The UNESCO-ROK CO-Sponsored Fellowships Programme : Research Outcomes

The Fellowships Programme executed by APCEIU in collaboration with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) from 1 July~31 August 2007 has produced the collection of research papers written by 10 African fellows from Burkina Faso, Burundi, Ethiopia, Gambia, Malawi, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Tanzania, and Zambia . In line with UNESCO’s emphasis on ‘basic education for all’ the main objective of the fellowship was professional development of teachers and educators in sub-Saharan Africa towards quality basic education and the Culture of Peace. The research was assisted and supervised by three scholars of Seoul National University of Education : Dr. Kyung-Sung Kim, Dr. Joo-Yun Cho, and Dr. Man-Koo Park.
