On 13 July 2021, APCEIU has successfully signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Institute for Educational Planning and Administration at University of Cape Coast, Ghana (IEPA) through a virtual signing ceremony. IEPA is a UNESCO Category II Center of Excellence with focuses on educational planning, administration, management, and leadership in the West African region.



Through the MOU, both Centres, represented by Director Hyun Mook Lim (APCEIU) and Director-General Michael Boakye-Yiadom (IEPA), have agreed on: 1) collaboration to implement projects in the fields of Global Citizenship Education (GCED) and educational planning, administration and leadership, including through research, training and awareness raising; 2) co-organization of the relevant international meetings, workshops and seminars; and 3) overall cooperation in implementing projects on GCED and educational planning, administration and leadership.


The partnership between APCEIU and IEPA is expected to contribute positively to the realization of SDG 4.
